This is what I have read on TT.net in the past. Because even the biggest sidemounts, don't compare to the size of a FMIC, specially the 3-row (its 24x12x4.5" thick) I do agree with you on the pressure drop though.

I have the GT28R turbos and the SAME GReddy FMIC, My turbos still spool very fast with it. I am sure they would be a little quicker with SMIC's, But damn I couldn't imagine THAT much. Due to my Z spooling as quick as it does.

Not to mention, AFTER 10+ HARD runs @ 15-17psi of boost. My whole IC and piping still feel very cool to the touch.

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
